Kea, also known as Tzia is one of the closest islands to Athens. The Port of Lavrio is only a half hour drive from the Athens International Airport. The boat ride is only one hour and there are three to four boats a day going to and from the Island. Kea is an unspoiled island, often referred to as the hidden gem of the Cycladic islands. There are few hotels on the island, so mostly private houses are rented out during the summer months. These houses are mostly made of local stone, giving them a unique architecture.
The house is on one level and is split into 2 separate houses, which easily be joined by knocking down one door. If the two parts are joined there will be a living room with an open-plan kitchen, three bedrooms with two bathrooms and a 2nd small living room or guest room.
If the house is kept as two separate houses, then the front house has a living room with an open-plan kitchen, a bedroom an a bathroom. The house at the rear end has a small living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom.
Amenities: Air-conditioning in the living rooms, mosquito blinds on all windows and balcony doors, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators, 2 stove tops, parking.
